Two minutes, two weeks after your pair arrives. That's the whole deal.

What testers are telling us
Every survey answer gets read by a person, and it changes what we build next. Shared here without names. Here's the latest, and what we're doing about it.
The first answers appear here as testers fill in the survey.
- "My feet swell through the day." That's what the cord is for. One pull loosens it in the afternoon, one pull snugs it in the morning. If it still isn't enough, tell us in the survey and it goes on the list for the next version.
- "I'm a narrow 6, shoes slip around." The cord snugs the instep and the collar holds the heel. If your usual size feels roomy, go a half size down. The swap is free.
- "One foot is a 5, the other a 5.5." Order the bigger one. If the smaller foot swims, message us and we'll sort a second pair at the tester price.
- "I need cushioning under the forefoot." Honest answer: this shoe is flat and thin on purpose. It won't give you that. We're logging every request for cushion, and if enough testers ask, a cushioned version is what we build next.
- "Don't be afraid of colour." Heard. The eight colours are all quiet on purpose for a first run. A brighter colour is on the list for the next one, and testers vote on it first.
- "I want to avoid bunion surgery." We can't make medical promises, and we won't. What we can say: nothing presses on the bunion in this shape, because the shoe is widest exactly there.
Two weeks after your pair arrives you get the same five questions. Your answer decides what the next 500 pairs look like.

Made to order in one run so we don't guess sizes. We print the date, send one update halfway, and tracking when it ships.

Free swap with a prepaid label. Thirty days, worn outdoors, no questions.
Can I get two?
One per person in the test, so 500 different feet tell us the truth. Phase 2 opens to testers first.
Do I have to post anything?
No. Five answers by email. A photo or video only if you want to, and only used if you tick yes.
Is this a medical shoe?
No. It's a roomy everyday knit shoe, one width, flat and thin. If you need arch support or extra depth, it isn't the right shoe, and we'd rather say so.
