A shoe shaped like a foot, made by people who read the one-star reviews first

Ample started with a question our mothers kept asking: why do "comfortable" shoes hurt?

Before we designed anything, we read 2,900 public comments and reviews from women about their slip-on and comfort shoes. The same things came up again and again. The bunion that every "wide" shoe still squeezes. Feet that swell by four in the afternoon. Laces that need a chair and a bend. Slip-ons that stretch out by month three and slip at the heel. And when the size was wrong, a return that cost money and a fight.

So we built one shoe around those complaints. Ample Daily is widest at the toes, because that is where a foot is widest. It is flat, thin and flexible, so you feel the floor. You step in standing up, and a cord hidden in the knit snugs or loosens with one pull. It weighs under 7 oz and goes in the washing machine.

Then we fixed the part that has nothing to do with the shoe. Free US shipping. True to size, with half sizes. Wrong size, free swap with a prepaid label from our US warehouse. Thirty days to walk in them, outdoors included. A person who answers within 24 hours.

What we will not do

We will not show reviews we did not receive. We will not claim the shoe treats anything. We will not strike out a price we never charged. We are new, and we would rather look new than look fake.
